Facility Move

Relocation is a live heart surgery on your plant. You must maintain service while equipment, people, and materials move.

Why it matters

Moves fail when disconnects appear between decommission, transport, install, qualification, and customer demand. Forgotten utilities, missing rigging plans, unlabeled tooling, and weak ramp plans create downtime and scrap.

How ECIC helps

  • Baseline the current state. Capacity, backlog, WIP profile, and customer service risk.

  • Build a move playbook. Sequence by value stream, with make ahead and bridge stock rules.

  • Create detailed machine passports. Footprint, utilities, anchor requirements, leveling points, and centerline settings.

  • Coordinate vendors. Riggers, electricians, air, water, network, and safety sign off.

  • Run phased cutovers with defined PQ or PPAP acceptance.

  • Stand up a daily control room to manage ramp metrics and risk.

What you gain

  • A move that protects customers and cash

  • Faster ramp to target OEE because centerlines and standards move with the assets

  • Safer execution with fewer equipment and tooling incidents
